Any suggestions on a good set of acrylic paints?

How much are acrylic paints? And are student sets decent? I have no idea about any fancy art terms so stuff I’ve read hasn’t helped.

Liqitex or Golden are two common brands but there are more very good brands of artist paints. go to www.cheapjoes.com or www.dickblich.com or Liquitex.com or www.golden.com for more info on these and other brands. I uses Liquitex and Golden and have been very happy.
